Final Results

If you would like to get a full copy of all results to put into your own spreadsheet or database .... read on.

There are two sets of files, each rather large, but they contain all of the final results for the Olympics. To get them into your spreadsheet, you will have to select VIEW/DOCUMENT SOURCE, or something similar from your browser menu. Then do a cut/paste into your favourite spreadsheet and you should be off and running. (for those of you about to ask "why not just setup for FTP?", the answer is we have a new server and I don't know how to do it yet ....).

• Overall fleet results with one line per team.
  This is useful if you want to import the file into a database.
• Overall fleet results with multiple lines per team.
  This is useful if you want to do a printout in the normal results format with the points on one line, and DSQ, DNF, etc on the next. The crew names are listed under the skipper names.

Notes:

• The files are CSV (or comma delimited as it is sometimes called). This file format can be imported into any spreadsheet or database on either a MAC or IBM/PC.
• In each of the files the first row contains a line of headings to show the contents of all the following rows although most of it is pretty obvious.
• For drop races in the results files, drop races are shown in parenthesis, e.g (34). This sometimes gets imported as a negative number, so you will have to reset the spreadsheet defaults so that it shows up correctly.
