Weather Disrupts Sailing Again Today--
Thunderstorms with heavy rain and strong winds ripped through the race courses again today, right on schedule. Race officials have proposed starting races at 12:00 tomorrow and using the reserve day on Bravo and Charlie to try to make up some lost ground.Euorpe and Lasers got off two races today, all others just managed one. Total of races to date, and the leader (unofficial, pending protests) in each are:
Laser: 6 - Brazil, 470 Men: 2 - Ukraine, Europe: 6 - Denmark, Finn: 5 - Brazil, Mistral Men 5: Greece, Mistral Women: 5 - Hong Kong, Soling: 3 - Germany, Star: 5 - Brazil, Tornado: 2 - Spain.
