IYRU Olympic Update

IYRU's Nightly Report from Savannah -- Monday July 22

Tomorrow's Weather Forecast -- Tide Chart

First Day of Racing!

Light winds, and then severe thunderstorms delayed the start of all races. First to get off the line were the Finns, Tornado's and the Solings. Stars soon followed. The Tornado race was abandoned due to lightning and rain. Mistral men's and women's, Europe Dinghy, and Laser races were postponed and then cancelled or abandoned. The IYRU website team proved it's mettle today, bringing the world mark by mark results, a first in the history of Olympic Yachting.
