IT'S GETTING HOTTER AND HOTTER

The National Weather Service's Olympic Marine Weather Support Office has forecast increasing high temperatures at the Olympic Marina and Day Marina located on the Wilmington and Savannah River delta for today and tomorrow.

The Support Service, located at the Olympic Marina, has forecast a maximum temperature of 103 degrees at the upstream Olympic Marina and 94 degrees at the Day Marina and offshore where a light breeze is blowing."we may issue a heat warning tomorrow with even higher temperates expected", a spokesman said. "in any case, we are warning all athletes and officials to drink as much fluid as possible, wear hats and use sunscreen."
