The Naval Oceanographic Data Center has deployed several weather buoys in the race course area which provide real-time wind, wave and water temperature information. The buoy numbers and locations are:

41021 -- 31 54 58N 080 51 15W

41022 -- 31 53 17N 080 51 31W

41023 -- 31 54N 080 54W

Tides and Currents:

Tide Flow Models based on different wind speeds. These animations were assembled from images provided by the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, in the article linked above.
